The BullDuino is Here!
June 27, 2012
Our application has been accepted, and we are now a part of the Redbull Creation Contest! The folks of Hackaday.com seem to be keeping up on the contest, so check there for more updates on other peoples projects. In the meantime, we need to get going!
We need to turn in something fun by July 3rd! This Thursday (6/28) is brainstorm day, and this weekend is BUILD OFF WEEKEND! The project entries are submitted via a video of up to 2 minutes in length.
The grand prize is over $10,000 worth of tools!
The only rule: Build something you love. Have a great time in the process.

—- UPDATE 2 ——
We had a good weekend of building on the project and can’t wait to unveil it soon. Just a little more polish and video editing remain. The deadline is fast approaching!

Harford Hackerspace here — The 2 sets of 2×3 pads that we have headers on are the avr jtag headers, I just took regular through hole headers and soldered them on to the pads, it doesn’t fit perfect but it fits well enough to hook up an avr programmer and dump/reprogram the 8u and 328p, it didn’t come that way. I also desoldered the bridged pads on the bottom which disconnects the 8u from the reset line of the 328 and put in headers with a jumper — as I need it not to reboot when I raise DTR on the usb serial.
